Hello and welcome to my blog. If you’ve come here from Rozelle’s blog, you’ll know what’s going on, but if I am your first stop, then there will be a link at the bottom of my post to take you to the next blog in the hop, and so on until you’ve gone all the way round. There are 24 blogs taking part today, so I know you’re going to get loads of inspiration for those retiring sets you have, or maybe suddenly now need before they go! Hurry though, some items have already gone! So today I have two cards for you. First up is a jolly little invitation made using the set Cheers to You:
I actually case’d this card ages ago from Andrea Walford! I changed a few colours around and made it an invitation – but you easily pop a Happy Birthday greeting there instead. Great card for a bit of colouring, although you will want to break out the Stamp-a-ma-Jig to get the glasses lined up nicely!
Secondly today, a card using one of my favourite set, Sense of Time. Now, if you’re familiar with my blog, you may be thinking ‘Favourite? Never seen her use it!’ Well, you’d be right! I’m sad to see this set go, although I actually only ever used twice! Funny that!
Heavily influenced by the sample in the IB&C, this shows off the detail of the large clock, while highlighting the great sentiment too. I’ve done some distressing, spritzing and sponging on this card!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my offerings today. Your next stop on the Blog Hop is Emma’s Blog.
Oh, and the winner of my Retiring Products Competition was Baz, with a huge 9 out of 10 correct! Congratulations my sweet, I’ll be getting your prize to you really soon.
Enjoy the hop and hope to see you back here again soon. Thanks, Val.XX
