Watercolour Silhouettes…

Hello! Hope you’re all having a great week.  Mine started well, 2 cards made by 10am Monday morning! I know! I then baked in the afternoon. Productive, or what?! Yesterday – not so good!  Oh well, can’t win them all.

The week before last, I held my monthly class and we were having a play with some simple Watercolour Techniques. Here’s one of the cards we made, probably my favourite of the bunch in fact:

Stampin' Up! - Watercolour Fun - Summer Silhouettes - Stamping With Val - Valerie Moody; Indepedent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. X

We stamped the cute flower from Summer Silhouettes onto the Watercolour Paper in Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry and Strawberry Slush. We then used an Aqua Painter to pull colour out from the edges of each flower, blending them together where they met.

The sentiment is from Blooming With Kindness and I used Stampin’ Write Markers in Basic Black and Strawberry Slush to stamp it. We then went in with the Flower Centre stamp using Versamark Ink and added Heat n Stick Powder followed by Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to give the centre’s a really WOW! I love this bit!
