Playing With My New Stampin’ Up! Goodies…

I hope you all had an amazing holiday season and enjoyed time with friends and family. We started with a party a few days before Christmas for local friends and neighbours, followed by lots of family time – both locally and further afield! It was lovely to chill out – but no crafting happened!

However, yesterday, the kids returned to school and I got a bit of time to play with all my new stash that had been sat waiting for me over the break! So I went for it:

Stampin' Up! - Butterfly Basics - Mini Treat Bag - Stamping With Val - Valerie Moody; Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. X

I decided on my stamp set and colour scheme and decided to create a set of cards and a coordinating bag!

I went for Butterfly Basics and after having not crafted much for a few weeks, I started with the new Spring/Summer Catalogue for a project to start with and roll from. I started with this card, based on one on page 27 of the new catalogue.

The colour combination is Pool Party, Rose Red, Blackberry Bliss, Baked Brown Sugar and Whisper White.

The font in this Butterfly Basics Stamp Set is just gorgeous!

I created a cute matching Gift Bag using the new Mini Treat Bag Die. I’ve added sides to the bag and trimmed the top off, then added Blackberry Bliss Ribbon handles to create a cute bag.

Pop back to see the other cards in the set close up in the next couple of days.

Thanks for stopping by today, see you soon,
