Christmas In July – Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Hi! Welcome to another Artisan Design Team blog hop. Firstly, let me say thanks for all the messages and support we received for our hop last week for the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Branches pre-order – we are so pleased you all enjoyed it.

Today, the Artisan Design Team are feeling festive! So, we’re focusing on Christmas for this hop, specifically the new Peace This Christmas stamp set and Specialty Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!

If you’ll pardon the pun, I fell in LOVE with the idea of replacing the ‘love’ in the stamped sentiment with this die cut from the Sunshine Sayings Thinlits!

For me, the Chalkboard look is never going to get old! I started with a bunch of tags with the ‘Peace, Joy & Love’ sentiments from Peace This Christmas. I loaded them into a Glassine Bag, and wrapped that in some paper from the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. Did you know this pack comes with 24 sheets of DSP? No, I hadn’t realised either, and love that I gets lots of sheets – especially of that musical note print I’ve used!

The ‘from Santa’ is from the Oh, What Fun! stamp set, and works equally well with the LOVE die cut – all cut from Gold Glimmer Card.

The tags can also be used as a card topper! Together, you get a coordinated card, tag and gift package – who’s not going to love to receive that!?
