Everything You Need For A Stampin’ Up! Halloween…

Hi! So, it’s half term here with my kids, and we’ve been to the cinema this morning to catch a movie we’d been hoping to see – The Secret Life of Pets! It was so funny! I know we’re late to see it, but at least we got there in the end. Our cinema is offering some special Children in Need screenings this half term, where the proceeds from certain showings are going to the charity, and this was one of them – so that was another great reason for seeing it now.

With just one weekend until Halloween, I thought I do a quick round up of all my recent Stampin’ Up! Halloween projects. That way, if you’re on need of some last minute inspiration, you won’t have to hunt for it – because I’ve collated all together for you! All my projects are quick and easy too, so you won’t need a lot of time to whip some of these up! Some of the projects have videos too!

You can also check out all my Halloween Posts ever by clicking HERE!

Hope you find something to inspire you there – have a spooky week!

Always Grateful For The Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Artisan Design Team Blog Hop for October! The Artisan Design Team is a group of 20 demonstrators worldwide, chosen by Stampin’ Up! to share their creativity. For this hop, we are focusing on a theme of ‘grateful’.

This post’s title kind of says it all really. I will always be grateful for my time on the Artisan Design Team. It has been a total dream to work with some of the best designer demonstrators out there, and to have made new friends all over the world!

When asked what makes Stampin’ Up! for me – I always reply ‘the people’. I love the product, but for me, the people are what make this little business of mine all worthwhile. The customers, all of whom are now my friends. The staff from local and global home offices. The other demonstrators, both in the UK (can’t wait to meet up with lots in a few weeks) and all over the world as we get to know each other virtually. The people who follow the blog and leave kind comments (wink, wink!). I’m grateful for ALL OF YOU!

For this blog hop, I kept things kind of simple – and focused on another thing I’m grateful for – cake! I am always grateful for cake! I wish I could send you all a cake!

For this project, I created a ‘tray’ for my cake using the Stampin’ Up! Paisley & Posies Designer Series Paper. I simply used my baking tin as a kind of template to draw on the back of the card, then cut out and stick together.

I always bake my cakes in liners so they don’t stick to the tin, but they also help with minimising the grease staining onto the card tray too.

I then popped my cake into one of the new Gusseted Cellophane Bags then tied it all up with ribbon from the Ribbon Trio Pack in the Stampin’ Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue.

Finally, I created a tag using a 3×4 card from the All Year Long Project Life Card Collection. I added the sentiment, cut from another PL card, and finished it off with a couple of the cute Copper Mini Pinecones.

Let me know if you’d like more detail on how I created the ‘tray’ for my cake, and I’ll see what I can do.

If you live in the UK, and need any Stampin’ Up! supplies to make this, or any other project, you can get everything you need in my Online Shop. For this project, the items I used are listed below and you can click on any product image to add them to your shopping basket:

Many thanks for stopping by. Please hop onto the lovely Allison in Canada who I’m sure will be grateful to see you!

If you any reason, you find the blog hop breaks at some point, please bear with us and try again in a short while. We do our absolute best to have the hop correct at ‘go live’ time, but sometimes mistakes happen. We aim to fix them ASAP, but we are all at different points in our day (it’s 2am for me so I’m asleep, for example) so it might take us a little while to sort it depending on where the problem is.

Today’s Treat Bag Topper is an idea I played around with over a year a go, but then never turned it into anything! It was fun to revisit an old idea, improve upon using all the new products now available and then share it with you!

Ah! How cute is that?! Even the little spiders are cute! In fact, the cute rather detracts from the scary! Oh well! Would you like to know how I made it? I thought you might, so I made you a video:

And like so many things, totally not just for Halloween – you could so easily recreate these for birthday treats, wedding favours and more!

Halloween Week – Party Anyone?

Hi! Thanks for joining me during Halloween week, here on the blog. Do you have a party to celebrate Halloween? Get all dressed up, invite the neighbours? If you do, then you’ll be needed some invitations right?

These invitations are super easy to create using the new Halloween Scene Edgelits. I’ve just die cut the tree and fence, and mounted them onto the Perfect Plum card base. I then stamped the sentiment from Confetti Celebrations, ombre-style onto white card and cut out with a circle die. Finally a couple of stamped bats finish it off. Pretty quick, perfect if you need to make a few of them.

If you need any supplies to create this project, please click on any product image below to add them to your basket in my Online Store – Thank you. X

Halloween Week – Jar Of Haunts For Stamp Review Crew

Hi and welcome to the Stamp Review Crew blog hop. First up, don’t you just love the banner Tanya made for this hop? The little bones in the corners add a great touch! As you can see, we’re focusing on Jar of Haunts today. We’re just a little blog hop today, so I hope you’ll be able to pop round the whole thing and see all the fun inspiration we have for you.

Halloween treats can be hard to get hold of the UK, and we certainly don’t have the range and selection that the US/CAN enjoy. Usually, ours is the regular sweets, just in larger multipacks! So, I created these Matchbook Treats for one of those that can can easily get hold of – and all year round, so these could easily be made for other occasions.

I’ve made a very quick video showing you how I created these – it is super quick as I was running out of space on my camera card!

Made using a variety of colours and jar fillers! I hope you’ve enjoyed my project today, please hop on to X and see what she has created for you using Jar of Haunts.

To purchase everything you’ll need to create this project, please click on any of the product images below to be taken directly to my Online Store:

This class is ONLINE! So, it doesn’t matter if you live next door to me, or on the other side of the world – this class is for YOU!  I wish I could could craft with all of you in person, but this is the next best thing!

When you purchase this class, you will receive a PDF containing written instructions for each project, along with a link to a private video showing you how to make each one IN FULL! Over 2 hours of video are contained in this class!!

Want to see more?

These 5 projects are huge! You will be able to give so many different gifts in them. And don’t forget my mantra:

If you have ever liked any of the following projects – YOU NEED THIS CLASS! These are just 2 of the bags included in the tutorial, along with another bag, and 2 boxes designed specifically for this class! I make bag and box making EASY FOR YOU!

Here are a few FAQ’s:

How much does the class cost?

The class costs just £10, which is approx. €11.50 EUR, $13 US, $17 CAN, $17 AUS, $18 NZ, depending on the exchange rate. A bargain in any currency, I’d say!

I paid for my class, how do I get it?

For those of you who pre-registered for class – classes were emailed out this morning. If you haven’t received yours yet, please check your spam/trash boxes, and ensure you have added my email address to your safe list. If you still don’t have it, please get in touch. Classes purchased from today onward will be emailed out within 48 hours of payment, and usually much quicker. Please note that the system is NOT automatic and all classes are actually emailed to you, by me, individually.

What will I receive?

You will receive an email from me, in which are links to 2 PDF documents, one for metric measurements, one for imperial. Each document includes terms & conditions of use, fully linked supply list, a written tutorial for each project, along with a link to a private video for each project too. There is also a bonus video to show you how I created my tag embellishments. There are over 2 hours of videos included in this class. (Please note, this class contains no physical product).

I don’t have the products you’ve used?

The class comes with a full supply list, so you can purchase everything you need if you wish to recreate my samples exactly. However, feel free to use whatever products you do have – once you know the principles, let your imagination run wild!

Can I teach this class to my customers?

Many of my online classes are purchased by fellow demonstrators. I am happy for you to verbally teach these projects to your class attendees in person. However, you may not print, email, reproduce, re-write or in anyway, distribute the PDF tutorials. You may not email, distribute, re-record or broadcast the video tutorials.

If you have any further questions regarding the usage of my online classes, please email me for a copy of the class terms & conditions.

Why should I buy an online class from you?

I share a great deal freely on my blog, including cards, boxes, techniques and more. The projects I offer in my online classes tend to be a little more involved, with more product used and more time spent creating, recording and editing in order to share with you.

I am also crafter with over 15 years experience, and I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator  over 8 of those. I love all papercrafting, but large bags and boxes are something of a speciality of mine. I am a member of the current Artisan Design Team – a team of demonstrators chosen specifically by Stampin’ Up! for our creativity. I have run several very successful online classes in the past, much enjoyed by those taking part.

I hope you’ll get your hands on this class now, while it’s still available. I know you’ll love creating these projects.

Crafty Hugs, Val. XX
