Stampin’ Up! Anniversary Card & PP#228…

I sat down this week to play with a card that involved treating your sentiment to some extreme treatment ala Maile Belles! I always love her cards, they are always so clean and simple, and yet look gorgeous. I worry that mine never looked finished when I aim for that level of CAS!

Anyway, I made it, I’m pleased with it, and by coincidence, it fits in this this weeks Paper Players Challenge:

And here is my creation:

Stampin' Up! - Your Perfect Day - PP#228 - Quick Cards - Occasions Catalogue - Stamping With Val - Valerie Moody; Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. X

This has to be the ultimate CAS card, doesn’t it? Black base card and sentiment – that’s it!!

I love this big sentiment from the Your Perfect Day stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

The change in font on a different line gave me the perfect place to cut the sentiment strip and add interest!

I used my Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities to highlight the little hearts formed in the sentiment – I love the way the swirls do that!

I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Come back next week for another card I gave the sentiment the slicing treatment too!
